My name is Professor Davis, and I am a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with nearly a decade of experience. I've had the privilege of working in a variety of healthcare settings, including primary care, urgent care, public health, geriatrics, and nursing education. Each of these experiences has reinforced one belief: nursing is about making a meaningful difference in people's lives through knowledge, compassion, and service.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management, and Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at South University, Tampa. I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Florida State University. I believe that learning never stops and that's a mindset I hope to inspire in each student.

Outside of teaching, I practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner and provide community health education and speak on topics related to prevention, wellness, and healthy living. I'm passionate about helping people understand not just how to treat disease, but how to promote lifelong health.

My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow. I want students to ask questions, think critically, and develop confidence in their clinical judgment.

‘The only finish line that you have never crossed, is the one you've never walked up to.’ Shelley-Ann Fraser-Pryce
