With a B.S. in Computer Science & M.S. in Mathematics, I spent 39 years in software development, primarily with Fortune 500 companies, including 10 years at BP Amoco (petro-chemical systems), 10 years at Nielsen (TV rating systems), 7 years at Applied Systems (Insurance Software), and 12 years consulting in a variety of industries (Telecommunications-Verizon, Financial Services-Citi Group, Mining-Mosaic, Technlogy Distribution-TD Synex). These companies utilized software applications and mathematics to acheive business goals. A wonderful perspective to see first hand!

Last year, I transitioned to teaching math with the goal of helping students to reach their hopes and dreams. Keeping perspective, I understand that passing a math class is just one step in the success journey. But success comes into focus as each step is taken. I challenge my students to work hard and do their best. I remind them often that I am committed to helping them succeed… our patnership!
