A graduate of Haryana Agricultural University, College of Veterinary Sciences, Hisar, India, Dr. Goswami earned the Ph.D. degree in Anatomy and Histology. Before immigrating to U.S.A. in 1996, he worked as a veterinarian in state department and also as Assistant Professor, Anatomy at College of Veterinary Sciences, Hisar, India. He has been working as a full-time faculty at Saint Petersburg College teaching Animal Anatomy and Physiology courses. He has also been working as a veterinarian and is owner of Animal Care Clinics Inc. He has published 10 research papers in various international journals, reviewed a chapter on Anatomy and Physiology in book published by Mosby and has delivered talks on online education at conferences.
