Office Schedule: Office hours are available prior to class or by appointment. Virtual hours available by appointment. Please email me your meeting requests, and I will set up a time either F2F in my office or via Zoom. I will be available after class for brief questions or to address any immediate concerns. However, to ensure my full attention without interruption, it would be best to make an appointment. Please refer to my door schedule for availability. Please note that changes to availability will be posted to my door schedule. Subject to change. Scott Pelletier earned his Master's of Education in Higher Education from Liberty University. He earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Safety Administration, Associate in Science in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedic Certificate, and Associate in Arts from St. Petersburg College. He has been with St Petersburg College since 2013, working in the Emergency Medical Service Program as the EMS Program Support Coordinator, Adjunct Instructor, Full-Time Faculty, and is currently the Lead EMT Instructor for the EMS Program. He is an Associate Professor in the College of Health Sciences at St Petersburg College. Professor Pelletier is a certified Florida Paramedic and certified National Registry Emergency Medical Technician. He has over 30 years of experience as a multi-functional paraprofessional. He possesses a diverse background with experience in pre-hospital emergency care, critical care, primary care, occupational health, and aeromedical transport. He is a member of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians. He has received several recognitions for outstanding accomplishments, meritorious service, and combat service. Prior to his position at St. Petersburg College, Professor Pelletier served as a Flight Medic in the United States Air Force. He achieved the rank of Master Sergeant and retired after 22 years of service. His experience in the United States Air Force included assignments at various stateside bases, assignments overseas, and several deployments in support of Humanitarian, Contingency, and Combat Operations. Additionally, he has served in public safety as a paramedic with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. Providing pre-hospital care and transport to the citizens of Hillsborough County. Further, he has continued to provide care and support to America’s Heroes and Wounded Warriors, even after their military service, serving in the emergency departments at both the James A. Haley VA Hospital and the Bay Pines VA Medical Center. He maintains his commitment to community service through the training, mentorship, and education of future Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers.
