With over a decade of experience in education, Professor Rivera brings a dynamic and student-centered approach to teaching. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida, along with endorsements in Reading and ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages). She also earned a Master's degree in Psychology with an Emphasis in General Psychology from Grand Canyon University and has completed over 18 additional graduate-level credits in Reading instruction at St. Leo University located in San Antonio, Florida.

Professor Rivera's background in both psychology and education uniquely equips her to bridge theory and practice, making complex psychological concepts accessible and meaningful for diverse learners. She is dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging classroom environment where students feel encouraged to participate, explore ideas, and deepen their understanding.

Known for her passion for lifelong learning, she is committed to fostering curiosity and critical thinking in her students. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading, cooking, staying active, and traveling to new places.
