Dr. Saad Maklad is an Adjunct Professor at St. Petersburg College, where he teaches Applied Ethics. He is passionate about helping students explore ethical decision-making, critical thinking, and leadership through engaging discussions and real-world applications.

Dr. Maklad earned his Ph.D. in Management with a specialization in Leadership & Organizational Change from Walden University, where his doctoral research focused on ethical leadership and organizational dynamics. He also holds an MBA in International Business and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

In addition to academia, Dr. Maklad brings professional experience in operations, project management, business strategy, and organizational leadership to the classroom. He believes that some of the most meaningful learning happens when academic concepts are connected to real situations and when students are encouraged to bring their own experiences and perspectives into the conversation.
His goal is to create a collaborative learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, challenging ideas, considering different perspectives, and developing their own well-reasoned conclusions.

Outside of academia, Dr. Maklad enjoys spending time with his family, music, traveling, and lifelong learning. He welcomes conversations with students about ethics, leadership, professional development, and their academic goals.
