Dr. Robert R. Calabrisi is a distinguished educator and retired United States Army officer with an exemplary career spanning five decades in government service, healthcare administration, and higher education. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at Saint Petersburg College and maintains a virtual position with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Calabrisi resides in Dunedin, Florida, where he continues to contribute to both academic and veteran communities.

Military and Government Service

Dr. Calabrisi's distinguished military career encompasses over 24 years of dedicated service to the United States Army. He began his military journey in 1976, serving in the pharmacy division where he developed foundational expertise in healthcare delivery systems. Eight years into his service, he was commissioned as an Ordnance Officer, demonstrating leadership and technical proficiency in military logistics and operations. Following his honorable retirement from active military duty, Dr. Calabrisi seamlessly transitioned to civilian government service with the Department of Veterans Health Affairs, where he has served at the executive level for over 26 years. His combined government service totals an impressive 51 years, reflecting his unwavering commitment to public service and the welfare of those who have served our nation. His executive-level leadership within the Veterans Health Administration has positioned him as a key contributor to healthcare policy, operations, and the delivery of critical services to the veteran community.

Dr. Calabrisi holds a Doctorate in Information Systems and Communications, as well as a Master of Science degree with a specialization in Health Education and Promotion.
