Hi everyone! My name is Lydia Wright, RN, BSN and I’m excited to be part of the nursing adjunct faculty at St. Petersburg College. I’ve been a registered nurse for 8 years and currently work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room at BayCare Morton Plant Hospital as a circulator.

Throughout my nursing career, I’ve had experience in several specialties, which has helped me develop a strong appreciation for teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and compassionate patient care. Teaching has become a meaningful part of my nursing journey, and I love helping students connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world patient care.

My goal as an instructor is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing your clinical judgment. I’m excited to get to know you and be part of your nursing journey!

Outside of nursing, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and making memories with my son.
