I thank you for visiting my SPC Faculty Website.

At the outset, I like to introduce myself. My name is Lakshminarayan Rajaram. I graduated with a Ph.D. in mathematics with applied statistics as specialization from the University of South Florida. I have extensive experience in teaching as well as in the pharmaceuticaI industry as a statistician.

I have been teaching at St. Petersburg College since 2000 (about 26 years).

My expertise is in the areas of mathematical and statistical modeling, principles of research methodology, biostatistics and its applications in clinical trials, applications of computational methods to clinical trial data, bioethics, public health informatics, and statistical programming tools (such as Python, R, and SAS).

I have 15 years of experience in developing and teaching short and intense courses, conducting workshops, giving conference lectures, or keynote lecture in the areas of my expertise in both USA and abroad.

I currently serve as a member of the Global Advisory Board for the Journal of Emergencies, Trauma and Shock.
