I have been teaching at SPC since 2012 and truly love it. The best part of my job is the students and helping them to succeed. The large majority of my students are in various pre-allied health fields (anesthesia assistant, dental hygiene, forensic medicine, funeral sciences, health sciences, medical lab science, medical sonography, nursing from ASN to BSN, pharmacist, physical therapy or physical therapy assistant, physician assistant, radiation therapy, radiography and other medical imaging like CT and MRI, respiratory therapy, surgical technology, ultrasound just to name a few).

The main courses I teach are BSC 2085 and BSC 2086 (Anatomy & Physiology I and II), BSC 2085L and BSC 2086L (Anatomy & Physiology I and II lab), BSC 1083 (Human Anatomy) and BSC 3931 (Special Topics focused on the Biology of Stress).

I am originally from Ohio and North Carolina. I earned my Bachelors in Biology from The University of Akron, Masters in Biology (Physiology) from The University of Akron, and my ABD in Physiology from East Carolina University. I have been teaching Anatomy & Physiology for 23 years at various colleges and universities in Ohio, North Carolina and now in Florida.
