Hello! My name is Heather Gerts and I am an adjunct instructor in the Dental Hygiene Program. I graduated from SPC Dental Hygiene in 2013 with my BAS-DH degree and began teaching clinically that same year. I decided to further my education and complete an MBA in Healthcare Management. Since then, I have added didactic courses to my roster of teachings. I love what I do in both student education and working clinically in dentistry. I am married with one son, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a rabbit. Needless to say, I love animals. We love to camp and spend time with family and friends. I look forward to many more years here at SPC educating our future healthcare leaders.
