I've been a nurse for 23 years. My areas of expertise include Adult Medical/Surgical, Palliative care & Hospice and Corrections nursing. A graduate of Alverno College in Milwaukee WI (BSN, 2001), Walden University (MSN-Ed, 2013), Alverno College (DNP-Nursing Leadership, 2020.) During my academic tenure, I've taught most classes but my focus has been Med/Surg, Community & Leadership. I believe nursing is the best profession! My desire is to share my passion for nursing with students while preparing them to be change agents in our complex health care systems.
