I am a fulltime, tenured faculty member at St. Petersburg College in Tarpon Springs, Florida. I teach undergraduate courses in the areas of psychology and student life skills. I received a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 2008 and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2006 from the University of Central Florida. My clinical experience and interests are in Geriatric Psychology, Neuropsychology, Health Psychology, and Rehabilitation Psychology. As a clinical intern, I worked at the Florida Hospital Peninsula Rehabilitation Unit for a year and a half and the Florida Hospital Oceanside – Senior Behavioral Health Unit for seven months. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who have suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and CVAs (strokes) as well as multiple other cognitive and psychological deficits. My research interests have focused on norming and increasing the utility of a popular neuropsychological screening tool, resulting in two publications in the Applied Neuropsychology. I also published research in collaboration with psychology faculty at the University of Ulster and North West Regional College in Northern Ireland, in the British Journal of Guidance and Counselling. My current research activities involving mentoring Undergraduate Research Experiences (URE's) at SPC. Additional international work has included a two-week faculty exchange with the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland. I have co-lead interdisciplinary study abroad programs in Ecuador and Belize/Guatemala. Finally, I have participated in a CIEE – International Faculty Development Seminar in Cuba.
