In my other job, I am an assistant scientist at the Cooperative Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Studies at the University of Miami. One of my duties is the lead coordinator for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Gulf of America Integrated Ecosystem Assessment program. My work covers a range of research topics include red tides and environmentally-driven species distribution, but generally focused on ecosystem-based fisheries management.
