Lynn Grinnell has been the primary faculty member for SPC’s Sustainability Management Bachelor’s in Applied Science (BAS) program for over a dozen years, teaching seven of the eight core sustainability management core courses (all except the Law course). Her professional accreditations include U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Faculty and LEED Accredited Professional (AP) for Operations and Maintenance (O+M). Her doctorate is in Curriculum & Instruction, with a specialization in Instructional Design, and she has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Organizational Behavior Management. She is the author of two sustainability books, How to Start a Green Team: Six Weeks to Positive Change and Green Projects: Balancing People, Planet, and Profit. She is also an entrepreneur (Chief of Publishing for American Sustainability, an educational publishing company), a member of the Care4Creation committee of the Hillsborough Organization for Progress and Equality (HOPE), and a deacon in the Episcopal Church. She spent twenty years in the US Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.
