I’m passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for future educators. I earned my Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction in Early Childhood and Educational Psychology from the University of South Florida. My teaching philosophy is rooted in constructivism, shaped by time living in England and a formative experience in Reggio Emilia, Italy. I love being outdoors and traveling—I’ve explored eight countries so far, and each journey has deepened my understanding of education and culture. In my courses, I strive to connect theory to the realities of teaching, making learning practical and engaging. One of my favorite guiding principles comes from John Dewey: “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” If you have any questions about the early childhood program, please feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to help.
