I grew up in Washington state. My background is in mathematics and electrical engineering. I have a masters degree in mathematics from the University of Las Vegas Nevada and a masters degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California. I finished my doctorate at the University of South Florida in Mathematics Education. I worked in industry for several years and started teaching when my husband's job moved us to Florida. I like to travel and experience new things.
