Errol Dupoux, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Exceptional Education Program at St. Petersburg College. Before joining the full-time faculty at SPC, he taught at Brooklyn College (New York), the University of Texas, and Barry University (Florida). Dr. Dupoux began his career working directly with students with disabilities in both inclusive classrooms and resource room settings across New York, Texas, New Jersey, and Florida. These experiences continue to shape his teaching philosophy and his commitment to preparing future educators to meet the diverse needs of their students. Having spent his adult life in the United States, Dr. Dupoux remains dedicated to advancing the field of special education and to supporting the academic and personal growth of his students. He believes in fostering an engaging, student-centered learning environment that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
