I am originally from a small town in Northwestern Ontario Canada and try to go back and visit every summer. As a kid we spent the summers at our cottage on a lake. Totally off the grid! No phone, TV, running water, or electricity. It's still very much the same except we now have solar power. It's a great place to totally disconnect and be with family. I have been in Florida since the early 80's and was a graduate of St. Pete Jr. College in 1990. I earned my BSRT in Cardiopulmonary Science from UCF in 1993 and my Masters in Respiratory Care from Northeastern University in 2022. I specialized in Neonatal and Pediatric Respiratory Care and have been at Tampa General Hospital for more than last 27 years. In my free time I like to be with my family, travel, read, and have been a hockey fan all my life. Go Bolts! The field of education is relatively new to me and I find that I am learning everyday, just like my students. I look forward to my interaction with them and am glad to be part of their educational experience. SPC has given me the opportunity to share my knowledge with the next generation of Respiratory Therapists.
