I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1981 from Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois. My Master of Science degree in Nursing was completed in 1988 at University of South Florida. My next role was working in the oncology section of a medicine outpatient clinic for two years. I have always loved precepting new employees etc. so I became an instructor in the Pinellas Technical Education Center, Licensed Practical Nurse program. For the past twenty plus years , I have been a faculty member in the St. Petersburg College Nursing Program. My niche has been found in teaching the Semesters 1 and 2 theory, simulation and clinical courses. My love for teaching has led me to also teach Pharmacology, and Professional Role Development in the Nursing program. In the Health Information Management program I have taught online Medical Terminology, Pharmacology for Health Professional, and Principles of Diseases. Currently an Associate Professor in the ADN College of Nursing Program.
